Julio Lopez (Memorial HS / Univ. of Tenn.) - Distance standout and long time highly succesful coach at Memorial HS.
Matt Hogan (Hudson Catholic HS / St. Peter's College) - Distance runner and succesful coach at McNair Academic HS.

2012:
Tom Downes (Hudson Catholic / Manhattan College) – Distance great, marathoner.
Katie Kopacz (Holy Family Academy / St. Peter’s College) – Collegiate distance great.

2011:
Pete Simigan (Bayonne / Villanova Univ. / NYAC) – Champion 440 and 880 runner.

2010:
Anthony Campbell (Snyder / St. Augustine’s College / NJCU) – HS county record holder and champion sprinter.
Ed Jones (Lincoln) – Champion HS sprinter. Member of the US Indoor Record Sprint Medley Relay.

2009:
Michael Burgess - Long time successful championship coach for St. Peter's Prep.
Isidro Pimental (Snyder HS, Georgetown University) - High school state champion and collegiate championship middle distance star. Also holder of numerous Dominican Republic National Records.

2008:
Thornton Smith (Dickinson HS, University of Pittsburgh, US Army) - Member of Ram's state championship XC team. University of Pittsburgh IC4A XC Championship team. Successful runner on US Army squad.
Ernesto Tolentino (St. Michael's, Seton Hall University) - State Champion 800 runner while in high school. Member of famed St. Michael's DMR Championship of America team at Penn Relays. Member of Seton Hall's National Championship 2 mile relay.

2007:
Al Adams (St. Michaels, Villanova University) - High school mile champion and member of the world record 2-mile relay at Villanova University.
Louise Black (Lincoln HS, Rutgers University) - Nationally ranked 880 runner for the New York PAL.
Mark Wright (Bayonne, Johnson C. Smith College) - Outstanding all-around high school athlete. High School and collegiate record high jumper.

2006:
Cheri Selby Pearson (St. Dominic Academy, Northeastern University) - Six time 400 meter medalist at the NJ Meet of Champions.

2005:
Cesar Gaudin (Union Hill HS) - One of the most decorated distance runners in County History.

2004:
Judy Davis - State champion sprinter for Lincoln High School. College sprint champion & All-American at NJCSU.
Larry Odoms - Highly successful boys and girls coach of Snyder High School.

2003:
Felix Olivo (Secaucus High School, Monmouth University) - Distance great in high school and college.
Larry Ross (Lincoln High School, Adelphi University) - Top sprinter. Member of world indoor mile relay record.
Liane Sullivan Rae (St. Dominic Adademy, Portland State University) - Outstanding all-around HS performer. Distance runner.

2002:
Paul Lenczuk - Hudson Catholic Coach.
Rich Treonze - Bayonne HS Coach. Long time officer of the HCTCA.

2001:
Elizabeth Duarte (Kearny HS, Seton Hall University) - Distance great.
Mike Rowan - Jersey Journal track & field reporter for 3 decades.
Joe Weber (Kearny HS) - High School Cross Country All-American.

2000:
Tim Henkel (Secaucus HS, Bucknell University) - Champion sprinter and jumper.
Yolanda Perez (Union Hill) - Champion sprinter and high jumper.

1999:
John Graham (Emerson HS) - State Champion sprinter.
Kevin Hennessey (St. Aloysius HS, Seton Hall University) - Middle Distance great.
John Nagel - St. Dominic Academy Coach.

Donald Bozzone - Co-founder of the HCTCA. Long time Emerson HS coach. Bergen Junior College Coach.
Al Long (Hudson Catholic, St. John's University) - Distance great.

1995:
Eugene Mancino, Jr. (North Bergen HS, Princeton University) - Champion weight event competitor.

1994:
Jim Cifelli - Kearny HS Coach.
Dave Law (Snyder HS) - Champion high school sprinter. National NAIA sprint champion.

1993:
Jack Armour (Lincoln HS) - World ranked 800 meter competitor.
John Hayes (Bayonne) - 1908 Olympic Marathon Champion.

1992:
Lucielle Sheldrick Daletto (Union Hill) - National record holder. First State Champion female cross country runner from Hudson County.
Ira Wolfe (North Bergen HS) - Weight coach. US Olympic Team Assistant coach. Junior National Team.
Laura Wronski (Kearny HS, Rutgers University) - Champion distance runner.

1991:
Leon Bailey - Long time Snyder HS coach. High School, National, International, & Olympic Official.
Manuel Silverio (North Bergen, Manhattan College) - Champion weight event competitor.

1990:
George Buttner (Bayonne HS) - Outstanding AAU runner. Long time Bayonne HS Coach.
Dante DiDomenico (Bayonne HS, University of Wyoming) - Distance great. Snyder HS Coach. Long time Bayonne recreation track & field director. Former Jersey City Schools meet director.
Brian Guaschino (North Bergen, University of Tennessee) - High School All-American 880 runner and collegiate competitor.
Silverio Vega (Memorial HS, University of Tennessee) - High School All-American cross country runner.

Stan Fryczynski - HCTCA co-founder. Track & field administrator. Official. Coach for Holy Family, St. Dominic, St. Peter's, & Secaucus high schools. Club coach of Jersey A.C.
Ian Pyka (Bayonne HS, Univeristy of Maryland) - Shot put champion.
Bob Short (St. Michael's HS) - High school sprint champion. Long time coach of St. Al's High School and St. Peter's College.
Peter Wilson (Bayonne HS) - Champion runner. Long time coach and official.

1988:

Al Stancil (Bayonne HS) - State Champion in Shot, Discus, and Long Jump. AAU Decathalon Champion.
